Eternal Perspective

Wow, the last 3 months have flown by, haven't they? I thought I'd learned a lot when I had my first baby, but this one has been a doozy! For sure I've learned to tolerate an increased level of chaos in our house :) I'm trying to enjoy every little moment I have with the kids. After all, they are the most important "things" in my life. And if that translates into less time on Facebook, less posting to my blog, less "alone" time (at least for the next few years *LOL*), I'm willing to do it. Right now both littles are asleep so I can post a few pictures of the last 3 months:

Our friend, Rachael Pullman, is a professional photographer. She came and did pictures of James when he was 2 weeks old:

We went to Utah the next week for my sister's wedding and the 4th of July (Lily LOVED the fireworks!):

We also had James blessed while we were up there:

July was full of fun - James got his first taste of swimming (not thrilled) and grew a ton! He jumped from the 10th percentile at birth to the 90th percentile at his 1 month appointment!

August flew by in a whirlwind of heat and humidity. We went to the pool and the library for respite from boredom. Doesn't Lily look like a little surfer girl?

All in all it's been a good 3 months, and I'm so in love with my little family!
