We went to our first doctor's appointment in NM and decided we really like the doctor. Could be that he sweetened us up by letting us have an ultrasound when it wasn't scheduled, but as far as Jessi's concerned, any reason to see our baby is a good enough reason. Unfortunately, Dr. Fisher wasn't a pro at taking good sonogram pictures! The two that we got are a little blurry, and not the best shots, but we'll take what we can get. You can see the baby is on it's tummy with it's little legs bent to the right of the pic. Jessi's been feeling less and less sick, and has started to gain just a bit more weight (probably because we are now in our 15th week) and she is getting really excited to feel the baby move any day now.Last Saturday, ConocoPhillips took the interns on a field trip to Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. The park is filled with Aztec ruins that we got to tour. It wasn't too bad of a hike to get through the park, so Mike is hoping we can make it back there for another look around before the end of the summer.
We're really starting to have fun in Farmington, and are enjoying the nice outdoor weather and activities the area has to offer.
